Globe Valve

GZP Forged steel valves are manufactured to the latest edition of API602, BS5352 and ASME B16.34. And tested to API 598.All Forged steel valves from GZP VALVE are strictly 100%tested before shipment to guarantee zero leakage.

The forged globe valve with extended stem is mainly for use with cryogenic fluids, wherein the elongated shaft between the valve seal or disk and the actuator is constructed so that rotational movement of the actuator results in linear movement of the shaft, without imparting a large rotational movement of the shaft about its longitudinal axis and with reduced thermal conduction between the mating parts. Coupling of the valve disk to a valve disk retainer is effected in the area above the valve seat. The valve also includes a shaft insulator so constructed and arranged to retain leakage fluid in a volume space closer to the valve seat. Optionally the valve can include bellows sealing of the shaft to prevent fluid from contacting the uppermost portion of the shaft.

Extension stems are normally furnished complete with top nut (or handwheel), rod, bottom coupling, two cap screws with jam nuts and pins. Top nuts and bottom couplings are also available for separate sale. Adapters can be custom manufactured to provide for Extension Stems on OS & Y valves (click here for PDF illustration of OS & Y adapter). Universal Joints, thrust collars & Miter Gears are also available.
